Added 5 cherry red shrimps to 45lt Cardinal tank | |

I have a lot of Anubias Nana in a big bunch and I think this is where the baby shrimp are. I dont know if they will survive, the other fish in the tank are 4 khuli loaches, 1 Otto & 14 Cardinal tetras. My main question do I have to add and special foods for the adult shrimps. They seem happy having a good feed of algae on the DW and ???? under the small crypts? Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. If you want to supplement their diet at all you can use a bit of extra fish food, some algae tabs or specific shrimp foods like hikari crab cuisine. Good luck with the new shrimp - I expect to see some pics posted soon. G_T Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur built the Ark. The ones that I have seen are towards the back of the tank or under the small Crypts. Wingsdlc Fish Guru What is this? Posts: 2332 Kudos: 799 Registered: 18-Jan-2005 | Great job getting your hands on the Shrimp. I am sure yours will be fine with the fish you are keeping. My population is growing with my skunk loaches and whitecouds. Being a I have a large population of shrimp and baby BN plecos in the tank I feed mine Omega One algae wafers pretty much every day. They come out of the woodworks for them. 19G Container Pond [IMG]http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y118/Wingsdlc/Ric |
