I've got one in my 14 gallon tank that is bigger than every guppy in there!!! He's an algae vacuum. 72G Bowfront. 1 Sunshine Peacock, 2 Yellow Labs, 1 Ps. Brengun Big Fish Posts: 355 Kudos: 187 Votes: 110 Registered: 22-Jun-2007 | You can tell the sexes when you put male with female and they expose their bits, usually in between copulations which can last for more than an hour. From memory, I think it is on the right side in a similar area to where their airspout is on the left side. I would love to catch him with his airspout (on the left) out as he can extend it over an inch, but he doesn't do it very often and when he does he retracts it before I can get the camera out. |
