I havn't, personally, but a friend of mine has... once. Basically, if the water parameters (chemistry, temperature, etc.) and environment is just right, they will breed. The baby shrimp don't go through a larval stage that requires salt water, so they just leave the mother after about two or three weeks being held under her tail like miniature versions of the adults.

A good way to get them breeding is to have them in a species-only tank with live plants including java or similar moss for the shrimp fry to hide in, a good and varied diet including high-calcium foods, caves in which to spawn and molt, and supplement the water with a few drops of marine iodine and liquid calcium if you have soft acidic water (both for reef tanks, but at 1/4 to 1/2 the normal dose).

One problem with ghost shrimp is that they are a common live food for carnivorous fish, and as such the conditions they are bred and kept in are not usually the best. This may impact the breeding habits of shrimp you may own, so if possible, get to know where your shrimp comes from and try to make sure of their quality.

Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean...

The Shrimp I have came from feeders from work. I basicly want to breed them for feeders. I figgure It would be much cheaper than buying them all the time.
