Is it the same tank in your other Topic posting you are referring to if so the Mollies will love them. As to tank size I only have Cherry red shrimp and I will that to others who have Ghost Shrimp. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. The fry can be kept safe there and you will also have some time to figure out what size tank you will need to keep them all The true test of character is not how much we know how to do, but how we behave when we dont know what to do. |

I have never seen mollies sold at a size smaller than ghost shrimp, so the distinction that your shrimp is larger is unusual. Your shrimp killed the fish? This seems quite unlikely, assuming your shrimp is a ghost shrimp. However, shrimp are scavengers, so will pick at the bodies of fish that are dead or dying. And technically, baby shrimp are not called fry; there are various stages of larvae that have different names, such as nauplius (plural nauplii), a term aquarists often used to refer to newly-hatched brine shrimp. -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |

I have heard of ghosts doing a bit of predetation but never killing full sized mollies. maybe you have a crayfish? \\\\\\\"an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of the cure\\\\\\\" |
