Trumpet snail | |
Brengun Big Fish Posts: 355 Kudos: 187 Votes: 110 Registered: 22-Jun-2007 | I am no expert but this seems to be some sort of trumpet snail. Usually they are buried in the substrate but this one in my nano tank is having fun on the top of the gravel atm. I measured his shell at 11 millimeters or 0.43307in. He appears to have real eyes. |

You really NEED these guys for the sanded cory tank you have, or else, you risk the problem of compacting of the sand and anerobic bacteria. Also, they are only visible during the night, so....
