what diseases are snails subject to? how can i spot them and what can i do to prevent or treat them?

I don't know much that kills snails besides copper. To avoid this, don't use copper-based medications in tanks with snails you want to keep. Sometimes copper can be found in tap water. So far I haven't had any snails die from using tap water in my tanks though.
