10g betta suggestions | |
RedFF7_XIII Small Fry Posts: 6 Kudos: 8 Votes: 0 Registered: 17-May-2005 | I'm thinking about setting up my empty 10g or 29g to use as a betta tank, using a small sponge filter. I might end up setting up both if I get another betta. I will problably add some misc cory's or maybe an albino bristlenose pleco in the 29 gallon. I'm open for any suggestions about which tank I should use or what other fish to add. |

In my 10 gallon i have 1 betta 6 harlequin rasoboras and 4 khuli loaches. Works great |

You can add more into the tank. I would stick to one species and a few Otos, also plenty of plants. For the bottom a big group of C. habrosus or C. pygmaeus would be nice. It's mostly a matter of what you like ~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is water at the bottom of the ocean |

Gourami Mega Fish Posts: 1205 Kudos: 477 Votes: 1 Registered: 23-Apr-2002 | Ive got my betta in with three black mollys, 1green sword tail, 2 kuhli loaches, 4 ottos, 3 blue finned killis, and a snail. Hopefully that should give you an idea of some of the fish that work. It mostly depends on the temperament of the betta. |
