shadowtheblacklab Hobbyist Posts: 100 Kudos: 52 Votes: 0 Registered: 31-Mar-2007 | The females are just...peaceful.You listen to people say"Even the females are aggressive with eachother." This proves that wrong, especially sience I have 13 females all in a 10 gallon tank. That is only for a few days to let them settle in first. No one has torn fins or missing scales. All the males I bought have seperate tanks and are next to eachother, all over a gallon. Yup. I'm that crazy Twilight/animal/music girl |

I wish I had enough tanks and space in my house to do rescue like that because the pet store near my house treats their fish like poo! "Black bodied male with yellow fins and blue edges?" That's so unique! 1 Ocellaris Clown: $14.95...1 Pink Dottyback: $12.99...1 Three Striped Damsel: $4.50...1 Blue Velvet Damsel: $8.95 The Problems that come with them: Priceless |

Female betta fights are very common and can lead to problems. Take it from someone who has been there and back. I lost 75 dollars worth of females a couple of years back due to female fights... not all petstores like petco treat their bettas badly, but yes ur right, some of them do. what also both botheredme was your opinion on bowls. while i respect your opinion, bowls arent the worest thing for bettas, i have all of my bettas in bowls, but does that make me bad. IMO it doesnt matter if you keep your betta in 100 gallons or 1 gallon, if the care isnt there thats worest. But thats just me i guess... Congrats on your bettas and tell randomwikitor i said hello. SHe should remember me. |
