Well I have a confession. In the past 2 months with my daughter being born and the holidays, I have not been paying the amount of attention neccesary to maintain a quality enviroment for my fish. As a result I have lost 2 of my 3 female Bettas to dropsy. I just feel terrible, although it wasn't intentional, I just feel awful. So this is my apology to those 2 girls of mine who i've lost. I'm sorry I didn't do what I was supposed to do for you. I will never let it happen again.

Congrats on your daughter!!! Sorry for the loss of those 2 beautiful fish.I know how sad it is to lose any fish.I have lost 2 beautiful male betta's in the last couple months.Are you planning on replacing them? I hope you find more beauties like that and will be able to find the time for them.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I do hope you can find more pretty girls to fill the empty space.

*reaches into her 20 gallon betta girl community tank, pulls out two girls and offers them to you* I know how you feel... I haven't had the time to pay as much attention to my girls as I should. They're used to being played with and handfed and lately all I've had the chance to do is throw a bit of food in the tank and run. *sigh* Stupid holiday season! ]:|

Thankfully, I haven't lost any of my girls, but I did lose two boys recently... one jumped ship and the other just stopped eating one day and was dead a few days later. Wasn't even long enough for him to starve... I don't what was up with him.
