Hello, i was wondering, what are some of the best betta foods. I want one that is good for its health, color, and that they love.

For one fish ...a long time .

I always fed mine 3 pellets or so at a time and they lasted for months.

Fish food does have an expiration though, after a few months some of the vitamins begin to lose their potency.

taht is a good, one, a once and wawhile treat is freezed dried blood worms.

bettabits, was a good type, but bettas can be picky at eatting what.

i have not fed peas, and i dont like it, b/c i hear alot about health problems, but that maybe only me.

bettamin, isn't one of my favorites, and i really haven't seen to many bettas eat flakes, like that.

but my little secret is colorbits, it is generally for larger fish, but it works great for my bettas. really good for fat-ing-up female bettas. my little secret to u.

Hikari Betta Biogold, then HBH Betta Bites (also HBH Guppy Bites because of the size)

I also feed live blackworms, but some people don't like that.

I use a mix of foods including so called Betta food which floats for at least 12 hrs if he misses some yet he prefers HAIFENG Super Red which is for the Cardinals this sinks very quickly and I think he prefers a moving food. He also loves peas, and certainly frozen Blood worms which I dissolve first in a medicine glass (plastic)
Another thing I have seen him eating is Otto poo.
There is more in My Profile about my total feeding
