I was curious as to what fish you can put with a male betta, i am not looking for a certain category of fish, just any you can think of. †Aquapickle† |

Some keep variuos tetras like neons and cardinals with them as well. Any fish that needs the same water conditions and is not too nippy or too shy will be a good buddy for a betta. It will also depend on the betta, some prefer to be alone and will attack any buddy added to the tank and others seem to interact quite well with their inmates! Mine does some scavenging and the harlies come in and enjoy his efforts, he leaves the other fish alone and instead saves his aggression for the betta in the back corner of the tank, strange, it looks just like him!
