	Bettas and Gouramis

Because I currently have about 12 sparkling gouramis in my 50cm cube tank and I wish to add a male betta in the tank. You think its ok? Regards Mango [/font]

stariel Fish Master Posts: 1870 Kudos: 107 Votes: 13 Registered: 01-Feb-2001	Bettas are generally not good tankmates for any other labyrinth fish - I would not recommend keeping them with gouramis - especially sparkling gouramis which are timid enough as it is. I think a betta would probably scare them into hiding even if it didn't attack them.
