Does betta food go bad? | |
kitsoncoalesced Fingerling Posts: 49 Kudos: 28 Votes: 0 Registered: 07-Jun-2004 | A few years ago, my roommate and I both had bettas. After mine died and my roommate had to give hers away, she gave me the container of betta bites and I've had it in my bucket o'fish supplies for over a year. After reading a lot of the posts here, I'm thinking about getting another betta...but I'm worried that the food might be bad Although it's been sealed up all this time. Is there any way to estimate if it's still good without actually testing it on an unsuspecting fish? |

Also has it just been sealed up with the normal top, or is it sealed with the airtight foil wrapper? Betta food is so inexpensive i probably would not risk it and go out and buy new food. |
