Gravid betta | |
illustrae Fish Addict Posts: 820 Kudos: 876 Registered: 04-May-2005 | So, I have a feamle betta in a 5 gal. tank. She's been there for about two months now, and for 6 of those 8 weeks she's had a belly full of eggs and a little ovipositor sticking out. But it's been six weeks... shouldn't she have dropped the eggs or absorbed them or something by now? She seems happy and healthy, very active and eating heartily. Should I worry? Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |

(Y'know, I actually looked up gravid on dictionary.com and it does specifically refer to livebearers, but also included egg-laying fish. I figured you guys would know what I meant. ) Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |
