I have met the nicest people when purchasing Bettas online.... | |

Paul of BiloxiBettas.com .... Bryan of BlueBettaUsa.com ... Marianne of BCBetta.com .. emiad a seller on eBay.... Sarah of ColoradoCrowntails.com ... orientalflava another seller on eBay.... Lisa of BettaBoys.com ... Several different websites and yet -- all sellers have provided not only outstanding Bettas, but have also been quite friendly and quick to respond to any questions I've asked --- before AND AFTER the sale is completed.... So unlike the staff at the one and only lfs located in my particular city... But I suppose that's due to the fact that my lfs is interested only in sales -- and not of any particular breed, whereas the sellers online have a specific interest in Bettas... Yes, I definitely pay more --- especially since I live in a locale that has the cold temps which requires heat packs and express shipping costs right now...... but you know, I find the extra costs well worth it! All shipments have arrived safe and sound, with the added plus of BEAUTIFUL, HAND-PICKED BETTAS!!!!! But it's definitely the sellers who have won me over to online buying of Bettas!!! It hasn't felt like they were only interested in sales.. but rather, the best interests of their Bettas along with my satisfaction.... And let me tell you, they have more than exceeded any expectation I might have had - whether it be in the areas of health quality and physical appearance of the fish themselves OR the continuing friendly service of the sellers!!!! I'm kind of curious though -- are my experiences the norm? What have some of your experiences been? Have any of you encountered a disreputable website - and if so, in what way? (I've attached just one of my latest aquisitions... And if you like this one, I would strongly suggest that you visit any of the sites listed --- because you might be amazed at just what is available online..... This fellow happens to be one of the males I purchased from orientalflava on eBay) dreamweaver8891 attached this image: Last edited by dreamweaver8891 at 27-Mar-2005 17:29[/font] To thine own self be true... |

By naming the excellent service you are getting will certainly get them more customers. Service seems a missing word today in many retail outlets not only in the Aquarium trade. I believe if you are lucky enough to find reputable breeders, sometimes buying on line is the best way to go. I have gotten three of my pugs from breeders without seeing them before hand. Never had any problems with bonding with them or with the quality. I am glad you have had such postive experiences. |
