Before I placed the pear core into the 5ft tank I picked a small piece and placed it into his net it only lasted a few seconds. Second attempt I placed the core in front of him and I could feel him picking at it.

Later he was eating a cooked pea out of my fingers.
Remember I have had him only 9days

No problems here this fella likes food.

You are feeding him pears?he is a silly little guy isn't he? Makes me tempted to go home and throw bits of a fresh peach into my tanks and see what everyone thinks of itwhat do you think? Think they might go for it, or is there something I'm overlooking

Glad you have yourself such a gentle little guy...Fruit Loop is a bit insane and I'm not willing to put my fingers in the water too longI'm kind of fond of the fingers how they are and don't want bloody nubs

I ain't as good as I once was
That's just the cold hard truth
I still throw a few back, talk a little smack
When I'm feeling bullet proof
So don't double dog dare me now
'Cause I'd have to call your bluff
I ain't as good as I once was,
But am as good once as I ever was

Here is a list of all the foods I use. It is in My Profile. I would not suggest all. Pears must be soft, & I would not try any of the hard fruits, apples etc.

Have a look in [link=My Profile]http://
