New Betta | |
truestar Enthusiast Young Pup Posts: 233 Kudos: 92 Votes: 147 Registered: 23-Aug-2007 | I just added a male Betta to my 20 gallon tank. He shares it with 6 Zebra Danios, 6 Cherry Barbs, and 1 ADF. I have been keeping an eye on them and they get along well. The Zebras will be moving into a 55 gallon tank in a few days and the Barbs will also move in in a few weeks. I feed them Tetramin Tropical Flake food and will start treating them to Brine Shrimp a few times a week soon. Is this okay for the Betta or does he need something else. I want to make sure he's happy and shows off his terrific colors. |

There are several fish that are compatable with Bettas I have 10 Cardinal Tetras, 2 Khuli Loaches, 1 small SAE in with mine in the Betta tank. Also it is very heavly planted. He eats a big range of foods I think his favourite would be either the frozen Blood Worms or the Tetra Betta Min Tropical Medley. They all love that mix which they get only once a week. Every day they are feed with a different food. I have lot of water movement therefore there is plenty of areas where he can get out of the current . Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I've seen the Betta swim right over him a few times and the frog hasn't done anything to him. I was more worried about the Betta getting food. The Zebras and Barbs are up at the top waiting as soon as I open the hood, and the Betta is pretty slow. Would it be okay to feed him shrimp pellets? |

What came first? the chicken or the egg? No really..... |
