New Betta | |
xlinkinparkx Fish Addict Posts: 521 Kudos: 353 Votes: 2 Registered: 23-Apr-2005 | Well i've had my betta for about 1month and a half and he is on a 5 gallon with some sea shells, But he is extremly unactive i never see him eat and hes kinda pale. Two Tanks Big Fish Posts: 449 Kudos: 328 Votes: 13 Registered: 02-Jun-2003 | When my bettas start acting sluggish and quit eating, I treat the water with a little melafix and / or primafix. It usually perks them up in a day or two. He could be feeling poorely. Also, check the PH and other water specifics to make sure there is nothing out of order. |

There is a cold draft from the garden / seasonal department in winter. You might need to get him a small heater if you don't already have one. Cold fish are more e to stress and disease. |
