New M Betta & behaviour of Cardinal Tetras | |
keithgh *Ultimate Fish Guru* Posts: 6371 Kudos: 6918 Votes: 1542 Registered: 26-Apr-2003 | After loosing the last M Betta to some illness the wife wanted another M Betta. After the Betta was removed the Cardinals became very spooky and stayed very close to the bottom and hiding as soon as I opened the top even to feed them. When the latest Betta was introduced they are back to normal in fact they are now even more active. The Betta is well-developed orange/red type body and fins coloring at the ba seemed extremely happy and strong in a tank with a few gold fish. Next morning he was eating and that afternoon had a good feed of cooked peas with the cardinals, which also love them. He also loves swimming in the current/bubbles from the long air tube and filter. I hope I have better luck this time. If they do with cardinals, they should go with neons as well. and if ine is lucky, tetra would enjoy the company of the Mr. betta, and even miss him when he's not around |

It looked a bit like what one of my bettas, that you helped me with, that had a tumor of some sort. Congradulations and a long life for you new guy. |
