What are they and how many? How often and what percentages do you do the water changes, also how old is the tank? The Gourami are/can be a very timid and shy fish and ceretainly like some protection the also like hiding in floating Water Sprite. Also another possibility as they are very timid and could have never seen/been with other fish and some of your tank mates just picked on him. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. Betta_Fantasy Hobbyist Posts: 94 Kudos: 44 Votes: 0 Registered: 30-Dec-2005 | So sorry about your loss... My only thoughts are like mentioned above, possibly a sick fish, or old age, but even though pearls are among the most peaceful of the gouramis, I don't know if two should be mixed, though it was a large tank and I could be totally wrong (I just know two gouramis can be aggressive, though I don't really think that was the case here) Otherwise, I don't think it was anything you could have prevented, and I am very sorry about your fish |
