keithgh *Ultimate Fish Guru* Posts: 6371 Kudos: 6918 Votes: 1542 Registered: 26-Apr-2003 | It looks like my young M Betta is developing a small internal growth on the lower middle part of his body one side only. Normal behaviour and eating well including cooked peas Is there any treatment I can give him. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. I had one that looked like she was developing a tumour on one side, and after a little while it kicked over into dropsy. I figure it was either contained dropsy to start with, or that the growth was on an organ that eventually failed. Either way, things that I tried had no effect. |

I have tried too many times to photograph him and for some reason his body reflects all light. It is if his body is nothing but a huge reflector. His colouring and brightness is very close to cardinal tetras.
