The only change I have done was to introduce 4 small 15-20mm cardinal tetras into the tank (only two left now) if it was a disease I think I would have far more than that and I dont think it would be an over night thing. The only thing I can think of he just decided he wanted to have a feed on two of the small Cardinal Tetras. Any good infomation would be appreciated. Another question why can I not keep them for very long this would be the longest I have had the same Betta? I have had 4 females die just this week, and they follow the same story that yours did. Fine in the afternoon, the next morning dead. The best thing as i am sure you know, is to learn from this mistake. And it stresses the importance of the QT on established tanks. |

There are also a number of rhabdoviruses that kill very quickly in warmer temperatures. |

I just discovered a large Khuli loach in fact it was OK only minutes before. I quickly did a water change and added some live bacteria plus the Melafix. I did find the missing Cardinal so the Betta did not eat it.
