Ok I've been wanting a tank at school, and was planning on taking a 20 to school, but well can't do it right now

So I've just about decided that I want to take Ghingus to school instead, or at least for now He's in a nice little 2 gallon. I'm sure I can make room for him on a bookcase or something

So what do ya'll think? Should Ghingus go back and work on his education? If so, what will be the best way to move the little guy? I'm thinking empty half the water and take him as is, just padded and held down comfortably in the front seat, maybe even drain it down to 1/2 a gallon?

Ideas? I really need a tank in my room

ps here is a picture of ghingus, seems to be his attitude on life

Meh, my sis used to take her bettas back and forth to school during long breaks... they had one gallon tanks. She'd just drain it down halfway and put the tank in a snug-fitting box. Wrap towels around the tank if needed to keep it from tipping. You can also just wrap the towel around the tank and cart it around like that... it just keeps the betta calmer.

Make sure you buckle the tank in or strap it down in some way so that it doesn't tip. Remove any heavy decorations that might fall over.

She had over an hour trip from the university to home (closer to 1.5 hours), so you'll be fine doing the same type of thing on your trip.

I'd suggest getting to school early, however, so you don't have to fight your way through crowds of students.

I would take all the water our and transport it in a strong sealed water container. Save some of the water and carry him in two/three plastic bags as LFS you can also wrap the bags in news paper this helps to retain the temp and does not stress the fish at all.
He might be able to give some of those kids an attitude lesson.

I'd stick him in a Coke bottle and just tip him in at school.

I have driven to School and back with a crayfish in a bucket on a leather carseat, and i was VERY careful, but i syill got a few small sploshes.

Either Coke bottle, or glad wrap the tank sealed and stick it in a cooler/esky.
