Un-Spotted Gourami? | |
Wizard Enthusiast Posts: 185 Kudos: 105 Registered: 04-Mar-2003 | I have two blue gouramis, which have always had the normal two black spots. Now, the spots have almost completely disappeared from one of them, and they seem to be more aggressive towards each other. Note that I recently "redecorated" my tank, so their territories have been completely altered. Is this spot-disappearance a sign of disease, or is it more of a behavioral thing? Thanks! |

The most likely cause of the color changes is stress, though. Make sure that the one who lost his spots isn't being bullied. You may need to separate them and see if that helps. Hoping that there must be a word for everything I mean... |
