What a little TLC will do ... he needs a name now! | |

He was really thin and looked rather blah when I got him. But... well... those of you who know me know that I'm a sucker for an underdog. Here's a before shot, the day I got him. As you can tell, he must have been hungry, because he's chowing down within half an hour of putting him in his new home. Kitten attached this image: ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |

kitten Fish Guru Meow? Posts: 2266 Kudos: 2194 Votes: 19 Registered: 18-Nov-2003 | After eating like a pig two and three times a day (and a nice variety of foods, might I add... none of which he balked at), he's truly changed a great deal. He needs a name... something to go with my other betta boys. I've got an "american ideal" type thing going, starting out with Life, Liberty, Justice and trailing on down to Honor, Glory, and even such vague connections as Feather (Bald eagle) and Firecracker. What do you think? Hard to believe it's the same fish, isn't it? Last edited by kitten at 14-Aug-2005 20:44 ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |

Patriot goes on the list. *grins* Daka suggested Freedom to me via MSN, which I also like. I'm liking Star, heidi, but I think I'm going to apply that to another nameless betta boy. Stars and stripes... works for me. What about Patriot for the above boy. Freedom for this boy: And Stars for this one: ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |
