Ogrt48 Fingerling Posts: 39 Kudos: 16 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Jul-2005 | Ok, I changed my water on sat and noticed the beta hasn't been nearly as active anymore. The water seems fine, he's eating fine. and he swims around every once and a while but before hand he was insane swimming in circles 24/7. Any ideas? :' |

Was the water prepared all chemical free and ph adjusted if necessary? Depending on you water supply several parts of Aust are adding more Chlorine and other chemicals at the moment. This is one very good reason to store the water for one week. Do a full tank water test and your water syupply test as well. When making water changes, try to have the same water parameters, as he already have & be as close as you can. http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/s8xi5heh/my_photos http://www.geocities.com/s8xi5heh/classic_blue.html http://groups.yahoo.com/group/buzaqq/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

My friend had her's in a small tank without lights, heater or filter and as it got colder over here this fish became less active. She bought a light and it helped warm him up a little and returned to his normal self. hope that's useful |
