high ammonia levels | |
notcourtny Small Fry Posts: 2 Kudos: 3 Votes: 0 Registered: 10-Jan-2006 | I'm caring for my daughter's betta and he's been very lethargic the last few days. I've tested the ammonia level and it was 1ppm. I prepared a new holding tank but decided to test the ammonia in the new water, since the current tank was just changed days ago. The new water tested at .5ppm. He doesn't look any happier. What should I do to remove or neutralize the ammonia? |

Next tell daughter if you dont look after the fish it goes back and no more until you are responsable enough to look after a pet. I just want there to be a fish for her to come home to. I appreciate your help, all. |
