ok, i got some quick pics today, unfortunatly u cant see his 4 ray splitting very well, because i didn't catch him before his fins grew again, but i looked with a hand lens, so i assure you they are there

showing off his missing ventral

hopefuly the next time i get the camera out, we can see the 4 ray split better without as hand lens lol

oh, and his parents are both viel tail

here is a pic of another young betta i have bred too

I like Mr Bubbles actually I was looking at a Betta with very similar colours at my local LFS the other day. I have adjusted you photo I hope you approve.

One reason it is a bit grainy is that I zoomed in to get a better look at the colours. What type/size camera did you use?
I used a Adobe for the adjustments.
