bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004 | with every day that passes, new color forms/sizes/finage/bodies etc.. the list goes on, bettas are now coming on the market, i dont know about u, but i am missing the olde bettas, blue/red plakats, stronger red veils. not that i dont like the new types but i just miss those, and i think it is a shame that they are often over looked. one type that will never get old though is betta macrostoma, still not been changed, and still very expensive to get. i love they way they breed though, very odd. |

If selective breeding is done very well. Could all these new types be the throw outs of the commercial breeders as they strive for that perfect Betta.
