fairynr Hobbyist Posts: 90 Kudos: 81 Votes: 4 Registered: 10-May-2005 | I was bored today, so I decided to try something new. I took out the frozen peas and gave one to my betta. I was surprised when he gobbled it all up! So, i was wondering what weird foods you've given to your bettas. Then I can give him some more interesting food!! |

kitten Fish Guru Meow? Posts: 2266 Kudos: 2194 Votes: 19 Registered: 18-Nov-2003 | My community tanks get a wide variety of foods, so my betta girls have a nice cousine set up for them. Besides their normal diet, they eat the cories' wafers, nibble at the BN pleco's zucchini, and basically eat anything in the tank. Of course, when I threw an ant into the tank, I was surprised when the girls DIDN'T go after it. In fact, the black neons did instead! This black neon chomped down on an ant almost half its own body length, if not more. It was HILARIOUS. ~Meow. Thus spoke the cat.~ |

I think its soo cool when they eat all these different things (especially from my hand) I also gave the peas to the rest of my fish, and my brother's fish (he should be happy that I did that since he didn't feed them yesterday) Thanks all/:' |
