Usually one month if u wanna keep the off spring put them in a breeder trap or a seprate tank unless u coustomized it so the fry could hide and eat their suraoundings.

>>>>>>a learning experience as an aquarist can be fun but you must be ready to take and obey advice and criticism but most of all be patient<<<<<<<

As soon as she has the fry mark it on the calendar and in about another months time you could easily have another batch.

That is the reason why you do not have a small tank if you want to keep livebearer as they just dont stop breeding and not before long the fry are starting to breed.

Its a big world out there and many do not survive as they get eaten by the other older fish.

Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.

There's no way to know for certain without just waiting for her to give birth. This isn't a huge problem as pregnancy only lasts about a month in livebearers. If she's really fat she's probably pregnant.

The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian.
