Joseph the guppy | |
Brengun Big Fish Posts: 355 Kudos: 187 Votes: 110 Registered: 22-Jun-2007 | I have been trying for weeks to get a good photo of my little guppy who I call Joseph, due to his coat of many colors. The trouble with Joseph is he never wants to stay still so I can get a good photo. He is always chasing the girls and avoiding the nipping angelfish even though he is the smallest guppy in the tank. In fact, I have neon tetras bigger than he is. This photo (although not greatly in focus) best shows of his coat of many colors. |

Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do. Brengun Big Fish Posts: 355 Kudos: 187 Votes: 110 Registered: 22-Jun-2007 | He looks like Endlers, but in Aust at present there is available a Venezuelan wild caught species which has a body more closely matching my Joseph. Perhaps he is a crossbred of those? I did have Endlers and Venez ones but a columnaris outbreak a while ago cleaned all of those up, except for little Joseph who was even littler then. Here is a photo a month earlier when he was displaying his dorsal for the girls. What girl guppy wouldn't be dazelled by that? |
