Male Guppies + Ich | |
stealth114 Hobbyist Posts: 63 Kudos: 24 Votes: 1 Registered: 17-Jan-2008 | Anyone find that their male guppies are so very e to ich? All my male guppies got these beautiful long black and purple tails that get totally eaten away by ich or the flesh eating bacteria. The females all seem very fine but 90% of the males I get succumb to this. I have used mehtyl blue etc to control but doesnt seem to work. Regards Hobbyists |

If it is coming through your water supply simply store it for a week and as they have no host they just die. Also treat the tank as well as the fish even 3-4 weeks if necessary, if it is in introduced fish be careful when buying and get a QT tank. Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
