Mixing Guppies/Endlers With Betta | |
marsha_mush Fingerling Posts: 18 Kudos: 20 Votes: 0 Registered: 08-Mar-2005 | hello all. been a while. I would like to add either guppies, or endler guppies with a male betta. i have a 20 gallon tank with a variety of species. i know betta's will attack a fish with large fins, but is a guppy with smaller fins ok? anyone had any personal experiences? and is the endler too small and become a food source? thanks all |

I wouldnt mix the two unless you want shredded guppy tails. Endlers should be fine though. Come Play Yahtzee With Me! http://games.atari.com Http://www.myleague.com/yahtgames |

I was also making the same inquire and I got the reverse answer if the Guppies are fully grown and several of them then can chase the Betta all over the place and give it a very hard time, Have a look in [link=My Profile] http://www.fishprofiles.com/forums/member.aspx?id=1935[/link] for my tank info Look here for my Betta 11Gal Desktop & Placidity 5ft Community Tank Photos Keith Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
