at my lfs i have seen normal guppies and yellow ones (the guppy profile shows a yellow one)
but my question is can the yellow ones and normal color ones mate and have fries?

They sure can. They are the same species of fish and can produce viable fry. All guppies can mate together (obviously male to female only), and they can even breed with Endler's livebearers. I have read speculation that Endler's are just a form of guppies, but that's just academic in this case because they'll breed together either way.

yes, they are all livebearersa, just teh color can be different, or mixed.

Just to clarify Chris's statement

Not all livebearers can interbreed, it has to stay within the species (for example platies and sword can, but platies and guppies cannot).
