Do you know what your water parameters were at time of introduction and then at time of death? That very well may be the clue to your loss. Sorry for the loss.

Yes, i also think that the tank wasn't cycled & you may need some salt for your Guppy's.

Well, the cycle is never finished- that's why it's a cycle. To Introduce fish, the ammonia should be zero, and nitrite should be at zero. Nitrates become toxic at levels of 50 ppm or higher, depending on the species. Also, guppies prefer a little higher pH, 7-8.

When you have the ideal water conditions, you can add fish. Also, did you have the temp. to high? When I had a 10g guppy tank, I accidentally cooked the fish overnight.

Also, how did you cycle the tank?

The safe time to introduce fish can take few weeks to a lot longer. It looks like you tank was no where ready to add any fish other than the starters.

What are the water peramiters now. Get it correct first and then add slowly if not you will continue to have deaths as soon as you introduce the fish.

Also do you know how to introduce fish correctly?

Have a look in [link=My Profile]http://

Definitly wait at least a week before introdcing fish to a new aquarium, even if you add that "instant" water-purifier tab/liquid.... Its always good to wait

The only tank that I have ever cycled was a saltwater tank....and that was only beacause I couldn't find the fish I wanted after I had the tank setup.... and I've never lost a fish..... maybe I'm just lucky.....

30g freshwater, 10g freshsaltwater, 5g freshwater, 2g saltwater, 46g freshwater

5horses, 10cats, 2dogs, 3rabbits, 3siblings
