Can a guppy give birth overnight
|Posted 26-Apr-2010 00:52|
I'm not sure if I understand the question, but yes, a tank with a pregnant female guppy one night may contain a not-so-pregnant female guppy and a bunch of babies the following morning.

I also think it would be advisable to rephrase your question, it does sound rather confusing.
If you mean over night?
As any mother will tell you when its ready its ready regardless of the clock or location.
If you mean immediately or a very short period of time after being with a male the answer is obviously no.
I believe guppies can give birth to several batches of fry with only one contact with a male guppy.
Which question and answer are you referring to?
Near enough is not good enough, therefore good enough is not near enough, and only your best will do.
