However there are strains where the females reach 3+ inches, with males being over 2 inches. If so the average fully grown would be about 1&1/2 ins or 35-40mm. But I always like to buy mine a little smaller, but i have seen some pretty big guppies in stores, at least 3.5cm to 4cm.
