20g FO | |
greenmonkey51 Fish Master Posts: 1571 Kudos: 1692 Votes: 5 Registered: 28-Jan-2004 | I was thinking about doing a 55g sw but something came up. I do have a 20g long. I will add live rock slowly over time but not at first. I have a AC 200 on it and a tetra whisper 100gph. I was thinking of one damselfish or clownfish and some shrimp and crabs. I know that 20g is small to start with but its all I got. Any Comments Last edited by greenmonkey51 at 05-Apr-2005 00:22 |

As a suggestion, I would go with a false purcula, or a true purcula if you want to spend a bit more. They are very active and stay small. Also very colorful and easy to care for. If you wish to add an anemone, a sebae is a good choice for the true purcula. The only problem is anemones get big and will out grow that tank. Only do this if you plan to get a larger tank later on. When I had a 55gal reef I had about 65 pounds or rock, and I thought it was a bit sparce. For a FOWLR tank, 37 pounds should look OK. The problem with a 55gal tank is it's tall and narrow. So it's hard to stack rock very high. Dan Dan |
