Just enough time to get the temp up close to the tank temp. Soem say let it sit for 24 hours, but, it is called instant ocean. ![]() Dan |

Check your ammonia levels after mixing it. Salt that is freshly mixed will have an ammonia reading because of the chemical reaction that it goes through when mixing with water. Personally I would mix it for 24 hours before using it. New SW also has a low 02 content, especially if ro, or ro/di water is used to mix with. |
