Starting a salt water tank | |
lucho Enthusiast Posts: 178 Kudos: 120 Votes: 0 Registered: 16-Jul-2003 | Hi! I have a 38 gal fw tank that I want to turn into a salt water tank. I've never had a salt water tank before, so I'd like to know what exactly do I need (filters, lights, etc) If someone could make some sort of shopping list, with all the stuff (models, brands) , besides the 38 gal tank, needed for a salt water tank, I would be really grateful. I'd also like to know if I can re-use the sand in my fw tank for the salt water tank. It's a fine white sand. Thanks! |
