converting fw to sw? | |
moondog Moderator The Hobnob-lin Posts: 2676 Kudos: 1038 Votes: 4366 Registered: 30-Sep-2002 | sometime in the next year i will be getting a bigger tank for my pleco and clown loaches. when this happens i will have a spare 30g long which will be vacant, and i was thinking of converting it to sw if that's possible. is there anything different i would have to do to make this conversion? or would i just follow the directions for starting a sw tank from scratch? You will also need a few powerheads. You can use any HOB filters, heaters, etc. The only other thing you will need is salt, hydrometer, and test kits for SW. Dan |
