led light or bulb? | |
pinn0025 Small Fry Posts: 1 Kudos: 1 Votes: 0 Registered: 18-Sep-2009 | Hi all, I was wondering for my fish tank if I should use an [url=http://www.ledlightswarehouse.com]LED light[/url] or a regular bulb? I hear that led lights use less energy and last longer but they are more expensive. Whats the best recommendation? Thanks |

If it were a Fish Only tank, then I'd stick with the CFL's and run the ones in the 10,000 K range. If you are going to have a reef or use live rock, then I think I'd go with the LED hoods.
