marine sand and undergravel filters | |
johnnylaw1984 Enthusiast Posts: 158 Kudos: 168 Votes: 19 Registered: 27-Sep-2004 | my question may be a dumb one, but i was wondering... i just bought a used aquarium, and it had an undergravel filter with 2 powerheads, the substrate was crushed coral. I was wondering if i could replace the gravel with live sand and still have an efective UG filter? Any suggestions would help alot, thanks john |
