I've been thinking of setting up a sump for my 70 gallon tank. Can anyone help me with the parts that I need and the total price it would run me?

If you build one, it's easy, just get a tank, such as a 55gal tank. Then add some sand, and fill with water/salt mix. After that you can use a pump to move the water. Lights will be on at night and off during the day. As for cost, I'm not sure off the top of my head, but it's really not that bad. Basicly it's just a box filled with water. Some people will use a simple rubermaid container.

Do a Google search in the images field and you can see many varietys of sumps. They are worth the effort just for the fact that you can hide all of the ugly equipment in them.
