In photo #7 what is the light green vine-like plant with heart-ish shaped leaves? Is it cardamine lyrata? or hydrocotyle leucocephala? Have you had any problems with it? I was thinking of adding hydrocotyle leucocephala to one of my tanks, but I've only been able to find cardamine lyrata. ba |

I was asking a friend that had cardamine. It's supposed to be a little more light needy then pennywort, and more likely to stay in one spot longer. Other then that, pretty close. I've had pennywort 2 years or so now, whenever I lose any I end up with enough of a little piece to grow it out again, then I float it. Does expecially well when floated. Mine is planted at the moment and looking a little palish. Not a hard plant though, at a couple times I was giving it away to friends with tanks. The Amazon Nut... |
