GH Hobbyist Posts: 64 Votes: 0 Registered: 24-Jun-2003 | FMZ...sorry, I'm not quite good enough with the camera to take macros of fish yet. I have a whole lot of macros of other things though (cat, flowers, flies, leaves). if you're interested I'll email you the originals (which are much better quality than hosting them on the internet.) thanks for the comments guys! |

GH Hobbyist Posts: 64 Votes: 0 Registered: 24-Jun-2003 | Tetra Fan: haha....GO PREDS...I should show you a pic of the rest of my room. its covered in hockey/predators stuff. FMZ: I got the camera at BuyDig.com I highly recommend them. Great prices, and the camera was at my house in 2 days. The Canon A60 actually went down to $115 after I bought mine. It has gone up to $124 last time I checked. Their prices change constantly. EDIT: I just checked, and they no longer offer the A60. Looks like I bought mine just in time! GH Hobbyist Posts: 64 Votes: 0 Registered: 24-Jun-2003 | Hey guys.... I just got a digital camera today so I thought I'd share some pics. Here's two. I'll post more soon. The tank is a 26 gallon bowfront. The only fish are 12 Cardinal Tetras at the moment. Eventually I'll have some hatchet fish and blue rams. Update (better pics) I've been experimenting with the camera's manual mode...playing around with the shutter speed and aperture value. My pics are slowly getting better. Still a little noisy though. Here's the new ones: Side shot Front Another Cardinal Tetras Full tank shot Another side shot Last one Any comments? Suggestions?.... GH Hobbyist Posts: 64 Votes: 0 Registered: 24-Jun-2003 | Thanks for the compliments. The wood is pretty interesting....but I don't really like it anymore. I wan't something a little more natural shaped I guess. Check the first post for updates. |

GH Hobbyist Posts: 64 Votes: 0 Registered: 24-Jun-2003 | Sorry, I'm not sure what the name is. Maybe anacharis or something? Foxtail maybe. All the plants were bought at PetCo. The camera is a Canon PowerShot A60. GREAT camera for the price. But I just have to learn how to take pics of aquariums. Here's a couple other random shots to show you what it can do. Not bad for $120. http://img17.photobucket.com/albums/v51/Gnashville/IMG_0099.jpg http://img17.photobucket.com/albums/v51/Gnashville/IMG_0034.jpg |
