Back In The Saddle Again -- New 20G | |
moondog Moderator The Hobnob-lin Posts: 2676 Kudos: 1038 Votes: 4366 Registered: 30-Sep-2002 | well, after almost two years of no fish tank to speak of (gasp!) i finally have a 20g setup to play with and have for my very own. and for those keeping track, i actually had to buy this tank, although i got it for less than $40 so it's as good as free current inhabitants are: 1 CT betta 2 SAE (possibly -- got them in another thread) 2 clown plecos 7 gold pristella tetras and here's one with the flash, just to show off the betta a little bit "That's the trouble with political jokes in this country... they get elected!" -- Dave Lippman |

My 20 gallon looks longer than yours. Something needs to be done about that one piece of wood on the left. For some reason I find it rather distracting... I really like the main piece of wood, though. moondog Moderator The Hobnob-lin Posts: 2676 Kudos: 1038 Votes: 4366 Registered: 30-Sep-2002 | currently it's a standard 30w normal fluorescent but i did get a 65w CF fixture, i just don't currently like the way it makes the tank look so i'm thinking of either returning it for a better CF fixture or just getting a 2nd standard fluoro. as for the plants, i will definitely be getting at least one or two more anubias to go with the first. after that it depends on how much light i can get in there. i'd love to put in a sword or two but not without at least 2+ wpg first.
