How big is the rusty, anyway? -------------------------------------------- The aquarist is one who must learn the ways of the biologist, the chemist, and the veterinarian. |

We also have powercuts here, but luckily they don't last long. The heat here is too much, but i'm trying to keep it down by fans. So sorry once again. http://www.flickr.com/photos/corydoras/ Member of the Malta Aquarist Society - 1970. http://www.maltaaquarist.com |

fish patty Fish Addict Posts: 539 Kudos: 223 Votes: 255 Registered: 04-Oct-2006 | I'm so sorry to hear that Rob. I can truly say I feel your loss, as the same thing happened to me this winter during an ice storm when the electricity & therefore the heat was out for a week. Some fish did survive, but I was so reluctant to get anymore fish after that. I thought, what's the point... the electric will just go out in the summer or the winter again & we can't afford a generator. But over time, I regained my interest again & started buying a few fish now & then. I wish you better luck with your new stocking. That does ease your loss somewhat, when you are able to buy new fish. |
