Nice to see someone else getting in some macro practise on some tiny fish, the only possible critique I could have is that there needs to be a little whitebalancing when using flash, although not all cameras have that ability, and you did overcome the iridescence of the fish very well.I enjoyed the pics all the same though. Not only do we have very similar male betta's, but I coincidentally got my best picture of mine lately too. Must be co-operative betta week Take a looky. http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/longhairedgit/IMG_5159.jpg http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a245/longhairedgit/IMG_5150.jpg And yes, despite the new diet he's still retaining weight. Fat lil bugger.I might starve him out for a week and see how he goes. |

I know little about bettas, but I'm assuming they loose color as they age? Cause I just bought one.... a bright red all over....& it appears as though not a scale on his body is missing any red. So I can expect some color fading as he ages? |
